ARTIST INFO

Debbie Ryan is a leading contemporary Mosaic Artist based in Merseyside. Debbie has extensive experience in creating contemporary mosaics, facilitating workshops with a wide variety of community groups and running Public Art projects. Recently exhibiting in places such as Shanghai's Expo (May - Oct 2010)

Debbie's work explores the multiplicity of the Natural world.Probing themes such as Gaia, Evolution and the Cosmos. The materials she uses reflect the variety and vibrancy of nature, often using indulgently bright and decorative mosaic forms.

Her mosaics have their place in many private collections, as well as public museums & national organisations e.g. MOSI, Museum of Liverpool, Norton Priory, Marie Curie and North Huyton Primary Care Trust.
